What is Microblogging?

Microblogging is a social method of sending brief texts known as posts, pictures, links, short videos and other media on the internet. These posts or other media can be viewed by other subscribers who can freely reply to these posts entering into a conversation. Posts are most likely to be viewed by the authors followers.

The main issues with Microblogging are privacy and security people are worried about the public seeing sensitive information on Microblogging sites like twitter.

Teachers are using Twitter within and outside the classroom to facilitate group work, creative writing, asking questions and some teachers are also using Twitter to warn their students that they are missing a class and the consequences resulting.
